1. Our leather is cut artisanally using traditional knives. Python skins are glazed using traditional techniques. Wood, knives and other tools are all used in the process. We use traditional techniques and, at the same time, we have invested in modern machinery where this improves quality and efficiency.
2. Vegetable tanning : python and iguana skins are vegetable tanned using vegetable dyes, nuts and nutshells as well as water.
3. Senegalese embroidery: Bouswari is proud to showcase Senegalese embroidery techniques. Traditional clothes are all embroidered. This used to be done only by hand; however machinery now enables high-quality embroidery.
